Job summary

Trescal Ltd. is seeking a Calibration Engineer/Technician to join our team in the UK. You will calibrate customer equipment to traceable standards and support accreditation activities, ensuring quality and compliance.

The role requires knowledge of calibration practices and related BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards, with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement. Flexible working options are available as part of our team.

Qualifications

• Experience as Calibration Engineer or related field in electrical equipment.
• Inspection or calibration experience in manufacturing, aerospace or automotive sectors.
• Technical qualification such as degree, HND or HNC.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration of customer equipment using approved procedures and metrology practice.
• Ensure certificates and records are completed accurately.
• Participate in UKAS and accreditation audits.
• Handle technical enquiries and liaise with clients as needed.
• Develop and audit calibration procedures for laboratory use.
