Job summary

Trescal UK is seeking a Calibration Technician at a UK site to perform ISO/IEC 17025:2017 compliant calibrations, maintain calibration records and certificates, and apply calibration theories.

You will identify productivity improvements, support operational efficiency projects, provide technical guidance to colleagues, and participate in internal/external audits. Senior engineers may mentor juniors, and training will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017
• Good understanding of calibration practices and theories
• Previous experience in a similar role

Responsibilities

• Calibration of measuring instrumentation to UKAS/National standards.
• Identify and develop productivity improvement opportunities and support operational efficiency projects.
• Maintain calibration records enabling the production of calibration certificates.
• Produce, review and audit calibration procedures.
• Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues on request.
• Participate in external/internal audits as required by quality management.
