Job summary

Sequans Communications in Reading, UK is seeking an RF Application Engineer who provides hands-on support to customers integrating RF and wireless into their systems. You will troubleshoot RF performance, assist during product bring-up, and collaborate with R&D and hardware teams to resolve design-in challenges.

The role covers lab work with spectrum analyzers, VNAs, and other RF test equipment, plus documenting guidance, creating reference designs, and delivering training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers integrating RF/wireless into systems.
• Diagnose and resolve RF performance issues, hardware malfunctions, and system-level integration challenges.
• Assist during product bring-up, calibration, and RF system integration phases.
• Develop customer-facing resources and train customers and internal teams.
• Collaborate with R&D, hardware, RF, and firmware/FPGA teams to address issues.
