We are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Operative to join our team based at CDE Manufacturing, Monkstown County Antrim. This is a great opportunity to join a world-leading facilities management company.

Working Pattern:

  • 21.5 hours per week
  • Tuesday to Thursday 9am to 3pm
  • Friday 12.30pm to 6pm
  • Saturday to Monday off

The Role:

  • Ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required standards, including weekly and periodic tasks
  • Use cleaning chemicals safely as detailed by COSHH guidelines
  • Ensure full knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials, and agents, and use equipment as directed after proper training
  • Report any faulty equipment immediately, mark as faulty, and do not use
  • Use safety signage appropriately at all times, e.g., wet floor signs, and warn customers where possible
  • Keep cleaning stores clean and tidy, and store equipment correctly and safely

The Person:

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently to complete tasks
  • Flexible with a positive, can-do attitude

  • Enthusiastic about customer service and reputation
  • Basic statutory training includes reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills to understand safety and work instructions and communicate with customers
