Job summary

Artis Recruitment is partnering with a UK organisation to appoint an experienced Head of Reward. Hybrid role with 3 days in the office, reporting to the Chief People Officer and leading a small team to deliver competitive, equitable reward programmes aligned to business goals.

You will shape the full reward agenda, including pay, benefits, recognition and governance, while influencing senior stakeholders and external partners.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a senior reward leadership role within a medium or large organisation.
• Proven track record in developing and delivering reward strategies.
• Expertise across compensation, benefits, pensions, incentives and recognition.
• Experience of managing annual pay and reward cycles.
• Strong knowledge of salary benchmarking, job evaluation, grading and pay structures.

Responsibilities

• Developing and delivering a clear, commercially focused reward strategy aligned to the People and business strategy.
• Leading, coaching and developing a team of three reward professionals.
• Designing and managing annual and ad-hoc reward cycles, including salary reviews and bonus schemes.
• Leading on pay benchmarking and market analysis to keep reward competitive.
• Reviewing salary structures, job architecture, grading and pay frameworks.
• Providing expert reward advice to the CPO, executive team and senior leaders.
• Managing employee benefits, ensuring programmes are attractive and cost-effective.
• Overseeing relationships with external benefit providers and consultants.
• Overseeing pension and retirement benefit arrangements.
• Ensuring reward policies support internal equity and transparency.
