To provide proactive, flexible and effective reward and benefit advice and guidance to the FirstPort Group. Responsible for the integrity of data and ensuring the security and quality of data relating to our reward and benefit offering is maintained.

Management of the reward and benefit policies and processes, development of further compensation and reward opportunities and lead on developing excellent relationships with our Partners.

Main Responsibilities

Strategic and Operational

  • Lead the Annual Benefits Window for voluntary benefits, writing & launching communications, verifying benefits selections, and providing membership data.
  • Management of annual benefit renewals including Private Medical Insurance, Life Assurance, Critical Illness, Income Protection and Health Assessments.
  • Preparation and management of annual salary review process, preparing all data and review materials for approvals and payroll processing.
  • Proposing & introducing new benefit options and providers and completing implementation.
  • Integrating and consolidating benefits schemes from acquisitions and TUPE transfers.
  • Provide advice and guidance on Policy and adherence to best practice.
  • Managing company car fleet, dealing with all car movements and License and Grey Fleet checks.
  • Preparation of Benefits P11D data.
  • Manage internal recognition platform membership.
  • Key contact for vendors and employees and a specialist expert for enquiries on eligibility, coverage and other benefits matters.
  • Working with the Head of People Experience on a reward and benefits advisory basis and escalating areas of concern as appropriate.

Management Information & Data

  • Responsible for the provision of management information and data on a regular basis, including the collation and presentation of data that supports the reward agenda.

Communication

  • Developing benefit communications for new hires, ad hoc benefits available throughout the year and continuing to review internal intranet benefit information.
  • Lead on benefit events across the business to promote the existing benefits package and continuously improve our current and future offering.

Relationship Management

  • Support the Head of People Experience in developing an effective relationship with third party suppliers (Broker and Providers) and monitoring performance to SLA’s and negotiation of ad hoc consultancy where required.
  • Maintaining and building strong relationships with internal stakeholders including wider HR Team, Payroll and Legal.
  • Network and participate in third party supplier user groups as appropriate and act as an effective ambassador for FirstPort.
