Job Overview

As the Director of Global Reward and Benefits, you will develop and oversee the company’s Reward and Benefits strategy to ensure it is competitive, market-relevant, and globally consistent. The role focuses on both compensation and benefits, aligning offerings with the company's strategic goals and providing value to employees and the organization.

This is a newly created position reporting to the Executive Director, Reward and HR Operations, designed to support the growth and expansion of the Reward and Benefits team in a dynamic organization.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop a comprehensive compensation strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Oversee the annual pay review cycle, ensuring fairness and market competitiveness.
  • Refine pay frameworks to attract and retain top talent.
  • Control the reward and benefits budget, collaborating with Finance for insights.
  • Oversee executive remuneration packages.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on compensation and benefits queries.
  • Support Reward and Benefits team with administration and reporting tasks.
  • Advise HR and leadership on reward and benefit challenges.
  • Collaborate with other teams on company-wide initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Deep technical and analytical knowledge of compensation, with understanding of its impact on business objectives and employee motivation.
  • Significant experience with Global Compensation & Benefits, preferably in a large financial services organization or banking sector.
  • Strong attention to detail and experience managing a team.
  • Critical thinking skills and a metrics-driven approach.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute operationally.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills across functions.
  • Knowledge of job architecture, incentives, salary surveys, benefits benchmarking, and Total Rewards strategy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for presenting complex information.
  • Analytical skills using qualitative and quantitative data to inform decisions.
