Qualifications

We have a vacancy for Revit Technician.

This post will be supporting the Group Design and Innovation Team, to manage and update a Group Directory of house types to be supplied to the regional businesses for execution.

Our Architectural Technician's take responsibility for providing robust architectural drawings. They will also seek new and innovative ideas and bring them to the table to drive our ambitions for being sustainable and customer focused, with a belief in better.

Duties Include

  • Ensure the preferred house type range and apartment designs are on trend in terms of internal planning and maximise the customer and community engagement through thoughtful design
  • Be well versed in NDSS and All Approved Documents, with specific expertise in Parts M, F, L and O. As well as the impact of Planning Requirements upon house type design
  • Promote the preferred house types, communicating the value of each design and take on board any constructive criticism for improvement from all internal functions as well as external customers
  • Manage the regional variations to house type design ensuring the business KPI’s are not impacted by these
  • Engage in the regular Site Visits, joining the regional teams to assess the implementation of group information
  • Support team members for our Placemaking initiatives – BFHL principles
  • Have good knowledge of sustainable products and solutions and how these can be introduced into group information
  • Support the managing of a Group directory of house types, that include details, specifications and key information
  • Protect, enhance, and differentiate the brand from our competitors.
  • Attend and support at both internal and external conferences, functions and workshops

We're Looking For The Following Skills Or Experience

  • Architect or Architectural Technician qualification or equivalent experience
  • Excellent design and technical knowledge
  • A fluent design capability together with the ability to work as part of the multi-disciplinary team as well as on own initiative.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to advise and guide untypical in delivering efficient award-winning communities
  • Passionate about keeping our values and vision at the heart of everything we do
  • Experience with Revit and other design software
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient IT skills – Office, Word, Excel
  • Full UK Driving license
  • Experience within the Housebuilding industry is an advantage
