Job Title: Revit Technician

Location: Bristol

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Thorn Baker has teamed up with an integrated design company providing architectural, structural, product, and production process design services, and project management, to deliver a better built environment with Modern Methods of Construction. They focus on Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) to deliver higher performing, sustainable, and well-made buildings. As demand increases, they are looking for a Revit Technician to join their team.

Your Responsibilities:

• Prepare building designs and detailed models using Revit and AutoCAD
• Produce efficient, well-structured coordinated models, data, and drawings that meet quality standards
• Design procedures and use project information for accurate manufacturing and assembly design
• Monitor health and safety in design, prepare risk assessments, and manage design decisions
• Identify and resolve conflicts from diverse project sources
• Prepare specifications, scopes of work, and technical assessments of construction packages
• Coordinate Building Control applications and discharge conditions
• Maintain knowledge of Building Regulations, Standards, BIM procedures, and good practices

Required Skills:

• Architectural, Environmental Design, or Engineering degree or equivalent
• Experience with BIM Level 2 in Revit, DfMA, and MMC
• Knowledge of Building Regulations, Standards, and BIM procedures
• Experience on large-scale projects
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Office 365
