Job description

My client is a privately-owned Building Services consultancy with 5 regional offices, looking to appoint a permanent Revit MEP BIM Coordinator to be based out of one of their Northern Offices - North East, Yorkshire or Manchester.

Role Overview

Working within an experienced BIM/REVIT team, you will be responsible for generating quality, accurate, and detailed records of Building Services engineering project documentation, in accordance with the project BIM execution plan.

Key Responsibilities

1. Produce 2D layouts and schematics using AutoCAD.
2. Develop 3D BIM models, including layouts, sections, and schematics, using Revit MEP.
3. Perform clash detection using Navisworks.
4. Ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.

Essential Experience

• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks; work samples will be requested at interview.
• Understanding of building services coordination requirements.
• Experience working up to Stage 4 in project development.
• Previous experience in a Building Services consultancy or MEP contractor environment.
• Familiarity with assurance processes, codes of practice, standards, and statutory documentation.
• Positive attitude, self-motivated, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
