Review & Acceptance Engineer - Civil/Structural Engineering

Location: Hinkley - Hybrid - 3 days on site

iO Associates is recruiting for a Review & Acceptance Civil Engineer - PTLS (Pools, Tanks, Liners, and Sumps) to join a reputable consulting firm delivering sustainable engineering solutions across critical industries.

As a Review & Acceptance (R&A) Engineer for the PTLS scope, you will support complex engineering issues in fabrication, focusing on stainless steel vessels, welding, and installation review. Your role ensures design compliance with project and regulatory standards, providing technical oversight and challenge.

Responsibilities include:

• Responding to General Queries, Non-Conformance Reports, Change Requests, and Exemption Requests from the NSSS Contractor.
• Collaborating with Responsible Designers and site experts to resolve technical issues.
• Ensuring compliance with Nuclear Safety and Environmental Regulations.
• Reviewing and challenging design decisions to meet project and safety standards.
• Coordinating and communicating with external partners and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary practices in the nuclear sector.
• Experience in construction or installation industries.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, including CDM and Nuclear Site License.
• Background in mechanical, structural, stress engineering, or related fields (experience with welding, stainless steel vessels, piping, MEH scope advantageous).
