Job description

Revenues and Benefits are seeking to recruit a full-time Revenues and Benefits Advisor for a 12-month temporary contract or internal secondment opportunity.

You will join the team responsible for providing high-quality advice to our Benefits, Council Tax, and Business Rates customers via telephone, face-to-face at the Town Hall, and through correspondence.

Applicants should have approximately 1 year of recent experience working with customers in a busy and challenging environment. A confident yet sensitive approach to customer service, the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, numeracy skills, effective liaison with external agencies, and experience of using computers are also required.
