Job summary

hireful is seeking an Audit Analyst in Birmingham to join their Audit Function. You will review Management Information (MI), perform gap analyses, and produce audit reports and bespoke financial reporting to identify opportunities for revenue recovery and cost savings.

Based in Edgbaston, Birmingham, the role involves supporting compliance and internal controls, presenting findings to stakeholders, and collaborating with the Continuous Improvement team to enhance data quality and processes.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of Finance and Data management and analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent organisation skills and ability to prioritise multiple deadlines.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
• Good understanding of business operations.
• Extensive knowledge of spreadsheets with data manipulation, pivot tables and advanced formulas.
• Experience with Salesforce and Power BI desirable.
• Interpersonal skills to work in a fast-paced environment desirable.

Responsibilities

• Review supplier spend information and conduct gap analysis; report findings.
• Communicate analytical outputs to stakeholders with clear metrics and trends.
• Present audit/financial analysis results and action plans to senior management.
• Monitor MI uploads, recover missing data, and educate suppliers to self-load MI data.
• Monitor and resolve spend compliance issues with stakeholders.
