Job summary

SumUp is seeking a detail-oriented Commission Analyst in London to oversee weekly commission cycles across multiple markets and ensure accurate, on-time payouts. You will work with Sales, Payroll, and Data teams to resolve discrepancies and drive process improvements.

As part of a hands-on team, you will help automate reporting and build tools to streamline workflows, staying curious about data and committed to precision in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Currently studying or have a strong interest in sales operations, finance, or data analytics.
• Basic knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, formulas) and curiosity to learn SQL.
• Attention to detail and accuracy when handling data.

Responsibilities

• Run weekly commission cycles across multiple markets with data accuracy and timely payouts.
• Investigate and resolve commission discrepancies and act as the point of contact for sales teams.
• Consolidate monthly commission data for Payroll with smooth handover and minimal recalculations.
• Collaborate with Analytics and Sales Operations to identify process improvements and automate tasks.
• Contribute to automation and reporting tools (AI bots, ticketing) to speed up workflows.

Our Revenue Analytics team plays a key role in how SumUp supports its commercial growth — ensuring that our sales operations, incentives, and analytics processes run smoothly and efficiently. Working closely with Sales, Payroll, and Data teams, the Commissions function ensures our sales representatives are rewarded accurately and on time. You’ll join a small, collaborative team based in London that thrives on precision, process improvement, and cross-functional teamwork.

What You’ll Do

• Run weekly commission cycles across multiple markets, ensuring data accuracy and timely payouts.
• Investigate and resolve commission-related discrepancies, acting as the point of contact for sales teams.
• Consolidate monthly commission data for Payroll, ensuring a smooth handover and zero recalculations.
• Collaborate with our Analytics and Sales Operations teams to identify process improvements and automate repetitive tasks.
• Support the development of automation and reporting tools, such as AI bots and ticketing systems, to make our workflows smarter and faster.
