Recurly is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Revenue Operations Contract Administrator to play a pivotal role in supporting our company's rapid growth. This position is integral to the sales process, acting as a liaison and subject matter expert between multiple departments, including accounting, finance, professional services, sales enablement, legal, and sales operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all sales contracts are accurate, compliant, and aligned with company policies and procedures.


Key Responsibilities
  • Deal Structuring and Guidance: Provide expert advice and guidance to sales teams on pricing, product configuration, and commercial terms for non-standard deals.
  • Deal Review and Approval: Scrutinize all non-standard deals to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to internal policies, legal requirements, and revenue recognition guidelines. Manage the approval process for non-standard terms, collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
  • Contract Management: Oversee contract lifecycle management, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and executing contracts. Ensure data integrity and compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, legal, finance, and accounting teams to resolve complex contract issues and facilitate deal closure.
  • Salesforce CPQ Administration: Utilize Salesforce CPQ to manage quotes and orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and approval workflows.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize contract management processes and systems. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Policy and Procedure Development: Create, update, and maintain policies, procedures, and training materials related to contract management and sales operations.
  • Sales Training: Provide training and support to Account Executives on opportunity creation, contract negotiation, and deal closing processes.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date account-level data in Salesforce.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the sales organization.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a deal desk, finance, contracts, sales operations, or revenue management role.
  • Industry Knowledge: 2 years of experience in the Software/SaaS industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CPQ tools (Salesforce CPQ preferred).
  • Sales Acumen: Deep understanding of the sales process and strong business acumen.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Self-motivated and resourceful, with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Flexibility to work extended hours during peak periods.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Continuous Improvement: A passion for learning and a commitment to continuous improvement.
