We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Revenue Executive to join our team at Sir Richard Sutton Limited, who manage The Athenaeum Hotel & Residences and the Sutton Hotel Collection, a prestigious group of hotels dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The role is predominantly based at The Athenaeum Hotel in the heart of Mayfair, London, with occasional travel to our hotels in Windsor and Bath.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Reporting: Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports ensuring data accuracy and consistency of delivery. Flag and escalate any data quality issues.
  • Booking Review: Review daily bookings to ensure the selling strategy is maintained and monitor cancellations that may impact the strategy.
  • Ad Hoc Reporting: Assist with any other ad hoc reporting needs.
  • Business Analysis: Daily review of all business on the books for the current month and the following 3 months, highlighting any peaks and troughs.
  • Inventory Management: Act as the ‘gatekeeper' on all inventory availability, ensuring rooms are not held out of order, blocks are picked up or released, and anticipating any wash of business.
  • Rate Management: Load/amend rates in the PMS and SynXis/Siteminder plus GDS mapping as required.
  • Competitor Analysis: Keep up to date on all competitor activity and communicate this information to the revenue team.
  • Revenue Tracking: Review daily the group's transaction report to ensure all revenues are entered correctly and highlight or correct any discrepancies.
  • Market Analysis: Accurate analysis and tracking of market segments, geographic, channel, and key account/agent production to check the effectiveness of pricing strategies and performance to forecast/budget.
  • Rate Parity: Ensure rate parity is maintained across all distribution channels.
  • OTA Management: Manage OTAs and update content.
  • Trend Analysis: Proactively highlight any unusual patterns or changes in trends and provide analytical support to investigate and conduct detailed analysis.
  • Forecast Updates: Update IDeaS/Duetto RMS system with changes to the forecasts.
  • Meeting Preparation: Assist with the preparation of the weekly revenue/commercial meetings.
  • Process Improvement: Constantly seek to improve and automate reporting, contributing to updating and creating new or improved dashboards as business needs evolve.

Who You Are:

  • Excel Expert: Highly skilled and knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel (Macros, Pivot Tables).
  • Independent Worker: Ability to work across all levels and functions under own initiative in a highly pressured environment.
  • Relationship Builder: Able to develop relationships with 3rd parties and the hotel teams.
  • Good Listener: Good listening skills and the ability to anticipate business needs.
  • System Savvy: Previous knowledge of hotel systems, preferably including GDS, PMS, Revenue Management, Group and Analytical systems and software such as Siteminder, Synxis, IDeaS, Duetto, Infor HMS is an asset.
  • Analytical Mind: Good analytical and numeric skills; well-organised and priority-focused.
  • Process Developer: Sound ability and knowledge to develop robust business processes.
  • Career Focused: Must express an interest in a Revenue Management career.
  • Experienced: Previous revenue management experience is an asset.
