Are you passionate about sustainability and retail? Join us as a Reuse Shop Supervisor and lead the way in giving items a second life!

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the collection, repair, and resale of recovered and donated items, both in-store and online.
  • Lead and motivate a small team of staff and volunteers to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Ensure all items meet quality, safety, and trading standards before sale.
  • Create engaging online listings, advertisements, and product descriptions to attract customers.
  • Maintain accurate stock control and inventory systems.
  • Build positive client relationships and support business plans to grow reuse in the region.
  • Use profit and loss (P&L) analysis to achieve financial and operational goals.

We encourage and welcome discussions around flexibility requests for this role. Working pattern will be 5 days per week. Weekend work will be required on a rota basis.

Requirements:

  • Experience in retail and online selling platforms.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of stock control and inventory management.
  • Familiarity with health and safety and trading standards in a retail setting.
  • Confident IT skills for creating product listings and managing stock.
  • Ability to lead, support, and motivate a diverse team.

Benefits:

We offer a salary of £34,729 (pro-rated for 42.5 hours per week) plus up to 3% Bonus (~£1,041), Company Pension (3% employer contributions). That's a total package of up to £35,770 at the time of joining, alongside support for your ongoing professional development.
