Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Returns Operative in Derby to verify and process returned stock, ensuring accuracy and compliance with quality and regulatory standards. You will support inventory control, update systems, and transfer items to correct locations in a busy warehouse.

The role requires attention to detail, good numeracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Shift work is 06:00–14:00 and 12:00–20:00 with a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and accuracy in checking returns.
• Clear communication with team and documentation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Good numerical and PC literacy for handling records.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify returned stock against documentation.
• Process returns following SOPs and complete receiving paperwork.
• Tag and move stock to correct warehouse locations.
• Assist with loading/unloading transfer trailers as required.
• Record discrepancies and support inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Maintain housekeeping and support continuous improvement in returns.
