Dorset Council is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to Return to Social Work.
If you have been away from the profession for over 2 years, Dorset Council offers a Return to Social Work programme to support your learning and development. This includes the opportunity to work in a social work team to gain the required supervised practice to re-register with Social Work England.
We can offer a paid placement as a Family Worker for up to 6 months, helping you complete the necessary supervised practice days.
Alongside this paid role, we provide an extensive support programme to assist your transition back into the profession.
We welcome applications from all backgrounds; however, we are unable to provide sponsorship at this time. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
You will support our teams through direct work with children and families, creating and contributing to multi-agency plans and interventions aimed at improving outcomes and life chances for children and young people in Dorset.
This role involves delivering support to children, young people, and families in localities, adopting a whole-family approach.
