Job Description:

Farringdon, London or Sittingbourne, Kent hybrid working

As the Retrofit Planning & Governance Manager, you will oversee the planning, formulation, and development of retrofit programmes, manage suppliers providing coordination and design services, and monitor progress across a range of decarbonisation initiatives including Warm Homes: Social Housing Fund and other grant-funded schemes. You will line-manage a team of four, ensure retrofit activity complies with industry standards, manage reporting requirements, explore funding opportunities, including carbon credit schemes, and provide performance updates and expert advice to stakeholders.

This is a permanent position working 35 hours a week. You can be based in either our Farringdon or Sittingbourne office, working a minimum of 2 days in the office and the rest from home.

What you'll need
  • Knowledge of the net zero carbon agenda and understanding of relevant legislation and standards (PAS).
  • Experience of working with senior stakeholders and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Experience of formulating high-profile programmes in a changing environment.
  • Experience in identifying and successfully securing external funding.
  • Effective leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • You’ll be solution-focused, with the ability to create innovative solutions.
