Happy Energy Solutions Ltd are expanding our team and looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Retrofit Business Development Officer to lead engagement with local authorities and social housing providers. This role plays a key part in driving forward energy efficiency initiatives and building strong partnerships that support the delivery of carbon-saving projects across communities.

Responsibilities include acting as the main point of contact for local authorities and social housing providers within a designated area, promoting offerings including ECO funding, HEATflex, local HEAT websites, and carbon-saving solutions, advising stakeholders on funding and efficiency measures, developing partnerships, planning community engagement events, coordinating project implementation, supporting funding applications, and producing outcome reports.
Qualifications and skills required include proven experience in stakeholder engagement with authorities or housing providers, understanding of carbon reduction schemes, strong communication skills, full UK driving license, experience attending community events, organizational skills, and knowledge of local government funding cycles. Qualifications in environmental sciences or energy management are desirable.
Location: Hybrid, home-based within close proximity to London and the South East, with regular travel to meetings in these areas and occasionally further afield.
