Our client, a leading name in the homeware eCommerce sector, is seeking a skilled Retoucher to join their dynamic creative team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in presenting beautiful homeware products at their best across eCommerce, marketing materials, and digital campaigns. If you have an eye for detail and a passion for high-quality imagery, this could be the perfect role for you.

The Role

• Retouch, enhance, and edit product and lifestyle imagery to meet eCommerce and marketing standards.
• Ensure all imagery is consistent with the brand’s visual identity, maintaining lighting, colour accuracy, and composition standards.
• Collaborate closely with the buying team to ensure timely retouching for new product launches.
• Organise and maintain the image library for easy access by internal teams.
• Apply professional retouching techniques, including path clipping, masking, airbrushing, colour balancing, resizing, and GIF creation.
• Edit and refine both product shots (white background) and lifestyle photography in line with brand guidelines.
• Retouch campaign and eCommerce imagery for studio and location shoots.
• Work closely with marketing and buying teams to understand briefs and deliver imagery that meets commercial goals.
• Perform accurate colour matching to ensure imagery reflects real-life homeware products.
• Enhance photography for web optimisation using expert retouching techniques.

The Ideal Candidate

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a retouching role, ideally within homeware or eCommerce sectors.
• Highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop with a strong portfolio demonstrating professional-level editing.
• Experience with home textile retouching, ensuring fabric textures and colours are accurately portrayed.
• Organised and efficient, capable of managing a high volume of imagery.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in presenting and discussing work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a creative team.
• Impeccable attention to detail and a drive for producing high-quality visuals.
• Adaptable to a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and solutions-focused.
