What is this role about?
This is an exciting opportunity for a Site Officer in Retirement Living Services, based at Kingswood, Kingsway, Chester, CH2 2FF.
As an RLS Site Officer, you will be responsible for providing building maintenance and general handyperson services, including basic repairs, health and safety inspections, waste management, and maintaining fire alarm, CCTV, and door entry systems. You will also escalate fault reports to contractors as needed.
We are looking for someone with experience in building maintenance and general repairs, who is passionate about supporting the elderly and possesses excellent communication skills for liaising with colleagues, customers, and contractors.
Working week
You will work 21 hours per week at Kingswood Retirement Living Scheme, on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 9am to 5pm.
Responsibilities
Your main duties include delivering maintenance and handyperson services, conducting safety inspections, managing waste, maintaining safety systems, and reporting faults to contractors.
