Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Store Manager to join our retail team at The Co-operative Food, Ground Floor Retail Unit, London, SE1 7NT. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a salary of £30,000 - £33,000 per annum plus excellent benefits.

As a Store Manager, you will help deliver the store's purpose by guiding commercial and community strategies. You will lead and develop your team, ensuring a fantastic shopping experience for customers, colleagues, and members, and demonstrating the Co-op's positive impact on local communities.

Your key responsibilities include:

  1. Empowering your team to deliver excellent service and promote the Co-op difference.
  2. Building an inclusive culture where everyone feels valued and heard.
  3. Developing your team through performance conversations and coaching.
  4. Ensuring the store operates safely, legally, and efficiently.
  5. Managing store performance, recruiting new team members, and overseeing HR processes.
