Job Description:

Our client, a leading luxury travel company, is growing rapidly and is recruiting for an experienced Retail Travel and Contact Centre Manager to lead their store and small contact centre team in Guildford.

This hands-on leadership role involves managing daily operations, driving sales, coaching the team, and ensuring high customer service standards, as well as leading the UK contact centre.

Candidates must have previous travel management experience with a proven track record in business performance management.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of the retail travel store for smooth functioning.
  • Set, monitor, and drive sales targets for the store and team members.
  • Manage store P&L, budgets, margins, and costs to meet sales and customer KPIs.
  • Analyse performance reports and implement strategies for profitability and efficiency.
  • Lead by example by servicing walk-in customers and handling inquiries.
Experience Required:
  • Proven experience in the travel industry, preferably in management or senior sales roles.
  • Strong understanding of retail travel operations, sales performance, and P&L management.
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills with a passion for team development.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to drive results and business growth.
Salary and Benefits:
  • Base salary from £45,000 to £55,000 based on experience.
  • Performance-related bonuses.
  • 25 days holiday and holiday concessions.
  • Familiarization trips (FAM trips).
