Job summary

Capgemini Invent is seeking a Director, Chief Architect for Retail to guide technology-enabled transformation for leading retail clients. You will influence business and technology strategy, shape enterprise-scale architecture, and steer investments to deliver measurable outcomes.

Working with senior stakeholders, you will define transformation roadmaps and lead multidisciplinary teams from strategy through delivery and benefits realization.

Qualifications

• In-depth experience leading enterprise or solution architecture in retail.
• Strong knowledge across retail domains (grocery, fashion, general merchandise, health/beauty).
• Proven track record selling and delivering complex architecture or tech transformations.
• Led programs from strategy and shaping to delivery and benefits realization.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture across complex retail transformation programmes and define roadmaps.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across client accounts.
• Define AI opportunities in retail and architect AI-enabled solutions.
• Collaborate with CTOs, Heads of Architecture and Engineering to deliver outcomes.
• Drive proposals, bids, and client pitches; support campaigns and thought leadership.
