The Role
As a Majestic Trainee Manager, you'll support your Store Manager in boosting sales and managing daily store operations. Your goal is to deliver exceptional customer experiences, optimize KPI performance, and uphold high operational standards. You'll also help develop junior team members to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support your Store Manager in daily operations and performance management, taking responsibility in their absence.
- Drive store performance by maximizing sales opportunities and focusing on KPIs to exceed targets.
- Provide market-leading customer service to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Offer personalized VIP concierge services, keeping customers informed about products and tastings.
- Share your passion for our products through in-depth knowledge, managing tasting events, and executing attractive tasting counters.
- Assist in recruiting, managing, and developing the team, providing support and feedback.
- Support team members' product knowledge development and their WSET qualifications, while continuing your own learning.
- Ensure the store's appearance and maintenance are always up to standard, reporting issues promptly.
- Identify opportunities to improve store operations continually.
- Maintain full compliance with internal policies, safety, and legal regulations.
- Support communication of store, regional, and business updates.
Knowledge & Skills Required:
- Experience working in a fast-paced, target-driven retail or hospitality environment.
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Understanding of retail KPIs and strategies to improve them.
- Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Self-motivated, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive attitude with a focus on solutions.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- WSET Level 2 qualification is desirable; willingness to attain WSET Level 3 for career progression.
- Full UK/EU/EEA driving license for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
