Job summary

Sainsbury’s is seeking a proactive Trading Assistant to join our store in Tees Valley. You will help ensure the store is ready for customers, replenish shelves, assist at checkouts, and support deliveries while maintaining a clean, well-presented environment.

You will build product knowledge, assist with On-demand orders and Click & Collect, and contribute to a high-energy team focused on an excellent shopping experience for customers.

Qualifications

• The minimum application age is 18 due to working hours and handling goods such as alcohol/tobacco.
• Right to Work eligibility in the UK is required.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a small team to ensure the store is ready for customers and provides a convenient shopping experience.
• Collect stock from the warehouse and replenish shelves, assist at checkouts, support deliveries, and keep the store clean and tidy.
• Pick quality products on the shop floor for customers using the On-demand grocery ordering service and assist with Click & Collect parcels.
