Retail Team Member - Wokingham

Hours:

3 Days, 10 Hours Per Week

Pay rate :

£12.60 Per Hour (including paid breaks)

At COOK, our shops are active community hubs, thanks to our warm, knowledgeable, and caring Retail Team. We’re looking for remarkable individuals to host customers just like they would at home.

The Role

1. Provide exceptional customer service, prioritizing the customer’s experience.
2. Assist customers with menu planning, catering advice, and inform them about offers and promotions.
3. Maintain shop cleanliness, ensure stock is replenished and rotated, and keep freezers full.
4. Operate the till efficiently and accurately.
5. Handle shop paperwork and legal checks appropriately.
6. Open and close the shop, including cashing up.
7. Check deliveries, assist with stock taking, and place orders as needed.
8. Maintain a professional appearance with apron and name badge at all times.

Good to Have

While being a foodie is a plus, we will train you on our products, their origins, and suitable dishes. Experience is not necessary, but retail or customer-facing experience is advantageous.
