Job summary

Rightway / Bevans Ltd is a community-based DIY, Home & Garden retailer seeking team members to deliver friendly, knowledgeable customer care. Roles are part-time with 16 hours weekly, on a rota basis up to 5 days out of 7 across opening hours. Training is provided and weekend availability is essential.

Pay starts at £12.75 per hour (21+) rising to £13.25 per hour after Shift Runner training, with enhanced rates and a supportive environment. Great opportunities to progress within the business.

Qualifications

• Positive, enthusiastic and customer-focused attitude.
• Retail experience is desirable but not essential; full training provided.
• Supervisory experience is an advantage for occasional shift running.
• Good numeracy, literacy and PC skills.
• Organised and reliable team player.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and assist with purchases.
• Receive deliveries, check stock, book items into the system, merchandise shop floor.
• Use the EPOS system for payments and stock checks.
• Price and maintain attractive product displays.
• Offload deliveries (manual handling).
• Run shifts as required after training.
