Job summary

Derbyshire Support and Facilities Services Limited (DSFS) operates the Shop at the Royal Hospital in Chesterfield. We are recruiting a Retail Team Member for 37.5 hours per week, full time, working 6:45am-8pm across five days.

You will manage high customer volumes, serve patients, staff and visitors, and handle deliveries with a friendly, efficient approach. Benefit from a Nest pension and enhanced pay after evenings and weekends, plus free onsite parking.

Job description

DSFS are looking to recruit a highly experienced Retail Team Member to join our team on a full time basis of 37.5 hrs per week, working within Shop at the Royal, located within Chesterfield Royal Hospital.

• Our services are busy, with a high-volume of customers with good equipment and systems - we need someone who can handle a fast pace and work with a small team.
• You will be required to work independently at periods throughout the day, therefore must be confident in tasks such as dealing with customer queries, putting deliveries away, serving customers in a timely manner.

This opportunity offers shifts 5 days per week, between Monday and Sunday, between the hours of 6.45am and 8pm.
Our Retail Teams are the focal point for patients, visitors and staff in the Hospital. We are looking for someone who will thrive in a role that requires exceptional customer service.
Key Benefits of the Role:-

Free Onsite parking for Grade A Staff
Our Pension is a NEST pension. Upon joining you can choose whether to pay 5% or 8% and DSFS will match whichever you choose.
If applicable to your role and contract we will pay enhancements of 40% for any hours worked after 8pm and before 6am on Monday to Friday and for hours worked on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.
