Job summary

Derbyshire Support and Facilities Services Ltd. seeks a Patient Caterer in the Patient Services Department within the facilities division to deliver a high standard of food and drink service to ward areas at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.

Duties include serving meals efficiently, maintaining kitchen cleanliness per Trust policy, and supporting DSFS's commitment to a diverse and inclusive workforce, with shifts 08:00–14:30 or 15:00–19:00.

Qualifications

• Provide a high standard of food and drink service to ward areas within Chesterfield Royal Hospital.
• Ensure patient meals are served efficiently to meet food quality specifications and Trust policy.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas and offices in line with Trust standards.
• Help support a diverse and inclusive workforce across DSFS and Chesterfield Royal Hospital.

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Patient Services Department which is within the facilities division.

Catering duties will be to provide a high standard of food and drink service to ward areas within Chesterfield Royal Hospital. Other duties include ensuring all kitchen areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required specified standards in line with Trust policy and ensuring patient's meals are served efficiently to assure food quality and to meet the required specification, in line with Trust policy.

The hours of work are:-

Catering 1 08:00hrs to 14:30hrs

or

Catering 2 15:00hrs to 19:00hrs

Catering duties will be to provide a high standard of food and drink service to ward areas within Chesterfield Royal Hospital. Caterers must ensure patient's meals are served efficiently to assure food quality and to meet the required specification, in line with Trust policy.

Other duties include ensuring all kitchen areas and offices are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required specified standards in line with Trust policy.
