Job summary

RAS (Retail Asset Solutions) is seeking a Team Manager to lead and support a team of merchandisers on retail projects across the UK. You will coordinate shifts, ensure stock is managed to client plans, and maintain health and safety standards.

Roles involve 12-hour shifts (days and nights), travel to stores, and accommodation provided where needed. Prior merchandising or retail supervision experience is preferred; strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to make decisions and prioritise tasks.
• Previous experience in Merchandising, Retail Supervision or managing people.
• Methodical approach and keen attention to detail.
• Manual handling and heavy lifting may be required.
• Strong problem-solving and a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Leading and supporting a team of merchandisers and replenishers.
• Communicate with management on progress and end-of-project sign-off.
• Carry out health and safety inductions and checks.
• Removing and replacing stock using client plans and systems.
• Adjusting shelf heights.
• Moving stock from warehouse to shop floor using roll cages and pallet trucks.
• Stock replenishment.
• Travel to different retail sites; accommodation provided when required.
