Job Description:
Are you interested in retail and looking for a role involving high-profile projects with major UK grocery and DIY chains? We offer salaried Team Manager positions where you'll work on new stores, refits, range reviews, and support projects. You will need to work in a fast-paced environment, making quick decisions and leading merchandising teams to high standards.
The Role
- Typical week involves 48 hours, Sunday to Thursday.
- Lead and support a team of merchandisers and replenishment staff.
- Communicate progress and finalize projects with management.
- Conduct health and safety inductions and checks.
- Shift lengths are usually 12 hours, including days and nights (mainly nights). Shifts are scheduled via our Field Power platform on your smartphone.
- Clock in/out using your smartphone via our RAS Dashboard.
- Work at various retail sites, with travel varying per shift. Accommodation is provided when staying away.
- Carry out stock removal and replacement using client plans and systems.
- Adjust shelf heights and move stock using roll cages and pallet trucks.
- Travel to different locations as needed.
- Make decisions and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Previous experience in merchandising, retail supervision, or team management is required.
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach are essential.
- Manual handling and heavy lifting involved.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude are necessary.
- Ability to work unsociable hours, including early mornings and nights, is required. Applicants must be 18 or older.
