Job description

Retail Team Leader

Salary: £30,943, increasing to £32,010 on completion of training. Plus, either a company car or car allowance.

Location: Durham

*Access to wages from 3 days after shift completion. Immediate start. Holiday pay.*

As a Retail Stocktaking Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing teams of up to 60 stock counters, delivering end-to-end stock taking services at our client's sites. The shifts vary, requiring flexible availability. You will need to travel to different client sites daily and may occasionally stay away from home.

Days: Monday - Sunday (up to 5 days in a 7-day pattern, with potential flexibility in working days)

Hours of Work: Evening/Night shifts

You will be expected to ensure the following within your team:

  • Adherence to correct procedures and processes
  • Delivery of exceptional customer service standards on all sites
  • Accurate completion of stock counts within deadlines
  • Monitoring and improving team productivity

Person Specification:

  • Full Driving License
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Effective communication with all levels of personnel
  • Basic IT skills
  • Ability to remain focused under pressure
  • Effective time management and ability to work independently
  • Willingness and ability to travel

Additional Information:

Work involves prolonged standing, use of step stools and ladders, and working in warehouses or large retail premises, accessing ground and high-level stock.

This role requires working unsociable hours, including early mornings and night shifts. Therefore, applicants must be over 18 years old.

Full training on our systems and procedures will be provided.
