Retail Team Driver (driver with own vehicle)

Location: MANCHESTER

Retail & Asset Solutions are currently looking for Retail Merchandising Team Drivers in your area. You must hold a full Driving License.

The Company

We are a leading provider of Retail Stocktaking, Merchandising, and Supply Chain Management Services. With over 3500 employees throughout the UK, we offer a hardworking and rewarding workplace with many progression opportunities.

The Role

• We are looking for Retail Merchandising Team Drivers (drivers with own vehicles) to join our successful merchandising team.
• This role involves carrying out merchandising tasks and overseeing the transportation of a small team of merchandisers to and from shifts.
• A typical week consists of 4-5 shifts, Sunday to Thursday.
• Shift lengths are generally 12 hours, including days and nights. Assignments are accessible via our Field Power platform where you can set your availability and accept shifts.
• You will clock in and out using your smartphone via our RAS Dashboard.
• Work will be performed at various retail sites/stores, with travel varying per shift.
• Escalate any vehicle issues promptly and efficiently.
• You will work as part of a team led by a Team Manager or Store Management.
• Responsibilities include:
• Removing and replacing stock using client plans and systems.
• Adjusting shelf heights.
• Moving stock from warehouses to shop floors using roll cages and pallet trucks.

Key Skills/Experience Required

• This role involves working unsociable hours, including night shifts, and applicants must be at least 21 years old.
• You must have a full Driving License.
• A 'can do' attitude and the ability to work long shifts are essential.
• Previous retail experience is desirable but not mandatory, as training will be provided.
