Retail Team Driver (driver with own vehicle)

Location: LUTON

Retail & Asset Solutions are currently looking for Retail Merchandising Team Drivers in your area. You must hold a full Driving License.

The Company

We are a leading provider of Retail Stocktaking, Merchandising and Supply Chain Management Services. With over 3500 employees throughout the UK, we provide a hardworking and rewarding workplace with many progression opportunities.

The Role

• We are looking for Retail Merchandising Team Drivers (drivers with own vehicles) to join our successful merchandising team.
• This role involves carrying out merchandising tasks and overseeing the transportation of a small team of merchandisers to and from each shift.
• A typical week consists of 4-5 shifts from Sunday to Thursday.
• Shift lengths are generally 12 hours, including days and nights (mainly nights). Assignments are available via our Field Power platform on your smartphone, where you can set your availability and accept shifts.
• You will need to clock in and out using your smartphone via our RAS Dashboard.
• Work locations vary across different retail sites/stores, and travel will differ per shift.
• Report any vehicle issues promptly and efficiently.
• You will work as part of a team led by a Team Manager or Store Management.
• Responsibilities include:
• Removing and replacing stock according to client plans and systems.
• Adjusting shelf heights.
• Moving stock from warehouse to shop floor using roll cages and pallet trucks.

Key Skills/Experience Required

• This role involves working unsociable hours, including night shifts, and applicants must be at least 21 years old.
• You must hold a full Driving License.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work long shifts are essential.
• Previous retail experience is desirable but not mandatory, as training will be provided.
