As the Retail Talent Acquisition Advisor, you’ll be a valued part of our Talent team and wider HR team, acting as the lead Talent point of contact for the Retail function, while supporting with sourcing exceptional talent for all Estee Lauder brands.

This an exciting opportunity for an experienced Retail Talent Acquisition Resourcer/Advisor, who is passionate about Beauty and is an expert in identifying, attracting and engaging talent and can develop talent pipelines across locations, using a variety of tools and techniques.

What This Role Does

  • Act as a subject matter expert on matters related to Retail recruitment providing market insights.
  • You will work in partnership with Retail HR Business Partners & Business Leaders to deliver an exceptional end to end recruiting experience for candidates & hiring managers within the Retail function
  • Foster strong working relationships with Area Sales Managers, Regional Managers and wider Business to enable you to deliver great talent that meets individual brand criteria
  • Provide a pragmatic and proactive Retail Talent Acquisition service for all Estée Lauder Brands and deliver a best in class ‘High Touch’ professional service to Retail Hiring Managers and Candidates
  • Drive the hiring process for active requirements by taking a vacancy briefing, effectively screening applications, including reviewing CVs and holding screening calls to make informed judgements on shortlists
  • Building awareness of the internal and external talent landscape for Retail, you’ll actively engage and build relationships with internal talent, maintaining awareness with the HRBPs of where/when our people are ready for their next move
  • Identify complex vacancies and create direct sourcing strategies that proactively builds readily available talent pipelines
  • Upskill hiring managers on Recruitment and Selection best practises
  • Support on Talent Acquisition projects and making process efficiencies
  • Assist the brands with tools for Assessment Centers and attending Careers Fairs to build brand awareness and talent pipeline
  • Weekly reporting to your stakeholders to provide recruitment updates and insights
  • Continually seek to improve performance and deliver year-over-year improvement against core metrics such as quality and time to hire as well as suggesting ways to increase candidate quality, experience and attracting a diverse workforce

Qualifications

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

  • In-house or agency recruitment experience at Resourcer/Advisor level with strong head-hunting abilities and be a subject matter expert in volume and/or Retail management with the ability to recruit up to Field Management level
  • Have worked in Retail or hospitality environment and have a passion and interest in the beauty industry
  • Be able to foster strong working relationships with Field Management and wider Business to enable you to deliver great talent that meets individual brand criteria.
  • Be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of how to ‘create and market’ roles to engage the right target audience.
  • Experience of working in fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be analytical and be able to report on your business area to provide insight to your stakeholders
  • Must be able to prioritise workload
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver quality candidates within specified timelines.
  • Exceptional candidate management skills from attraction, selection through to successful on-boarding
  • Must be able to demonstrate strategic thinking and see the bigger picture, whilst working on multiple vacancies and closely managing your stakeholders
  • Possess strong influencing and networking skills and truly understand what a good candidate and hiring manager experience entails
  • Proficient in Mircosoft packages such as Excel, Outlook and Teams
