Job summary

Superdrug Stores is seeking a RetailSystems Testing Administrator to support end-to-end promotional testing from our East Croydon office. The role offers hybrid working with 2 days from home and 3 days in the office near East Croydon Station.

You will validate promotions on tills, document results, and collaborate with IT, Systems and Marketing to ensure campaigns are launch-ready. The successful candidate will have hands-on testing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to

• Experience executing end-to-end promotional testing.
• Ability to validate promotions at till level and ensure correct discount applications.
• Experience documenting results and issues for audit trails.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end promotional testing for each event.
• Run structured testing of all promotional activity ahead of go-live.
• Carry out detailed till-based validation of promotions.
• Test promotions by scanning products on test tills and validating outcomes.
• Identify and resolve issues prior to go-live.
• Prioritise testing activity based on risk and complexity.
• Record and track testing outcomes with clear audit trails.
• Collaborate with IT/Systems/Marketing to resolve test rig issues.
• Ensure readiness for rollout and live store testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Executeend-to-end promotional testing for each event
• Runstructured testing of all promotional activity ahead of go-live, ensuringpromotions perform correctly at till.
• Carryout detailed till-based validation of promotions
• Testpromotions by scanning products on test tills, validating correctdiscount application, offer triggering, and expected customer outcomes.
• Validatea wide range of promotional mechanics
• Testmultibuy, bundle, threshold, and loyalty-based promotions (e.g. 3 for 2,BOGOF, spend & save), including different transaction scenarios andquantities.
• Identifyand resolve issues prior to go-live
• Proactivelydetect scanning errors, incorrect discounts, or conflicting offers, andescalate issues to relevant teams for resolution
• Prioritisetesting activity based on risk and complexity
• Usestructured priority lists to focus on high-risk or complex promotions andensure efficient use of the testing window.
• Recordand track testing outcomes
• Documenttest results, scenarios, and issues using team trackers, ensuring a clearaudit trail of validation activity
• Collaboratecross-functionally to support issue resolution
• Workclosely with IT, Systems, and Marketing teams to troubleshoot test rigissues and ensure promotions are ready for launch
• Ensurer readiness for R10 till rollout
• Applyexisting promotional testing processes within the new R10 system,supporting transition and ensuring promotions scan correctly in livestores
