In this customer-facing role, you will be responsible for providing our customers with a great shopping experience and ensuring they receive world-class customer service.

We are a small team, looking for flexible people to join us to work 20 hours per week. A flexible approach to working is needed with the ability to work different days each week; regular Saturday working is likely with the remaining hours across the rest of the week (4-week rotas are provided in advance).

The Retail Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operations of a retail concession, ensuring smooth service, and excellent customer experience. This role includes supervising staff, managing stock, and maintaining product presentation to maximize sales and efficiency. Duties may vary based on needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the operations of the retail concession, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Schedule and assign tasks to team members, ensuring efficient workflow and service delivery.
  • Train and guide staff on job responsibilities, product knowledge, customer service, and health & safety procedures.
  • Oversee stock levels, replenish products, and manage inventory to maintain appropriate stock levels.
  • Ensure attractive and organised product displays, adhering to brand standards and visual merchandising guidelines.
  • Handle customer interactions, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and enhancing overall satisfaction.
  • Set up and maintain concession stands, including equipment, displays, and workstations.
  • Assist with reporting and administrative tasks related to sales, stock levels, and staff performance.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Previous supervisory experience in a retail setting preferred.
  • Previous experience in retail, merchandising, or fashion (preferred).
  • A keen eye for trends and an understanding of styling. (Preferred).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced retail or concession environment.
  • Strong customer service skills with a proactive and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, peak trading hours and event days.
