Job Description:
The role of Retail Supervisor at Vuori is to lead the retail sales team by example, forging connections with customers while communicating Vuori’s brand values through insightful product knowledge and a positive outlook. The Supervisor supervises the retail floor, takes initiative, delegates work, and is a top seller. They assist in maintaining and driving sales to meet KPIs under the direction of the Floor Lead.
Create an unforgettable customer experience
- Ensure each customer receives the best experience possible.
- Take ownership of the sales floor and team to prioritize customer experience.
- Prepare fitting rooms, find sizes, and provide honest feedback on merchandise.
- Build lasting customer relationships through engagement and inviting them to events.
- Stay informed on new and popular products and share this knowledge.
Be the business
- Lead daily operations of the sales floor when the Floor Lead is absent.
- Motivate the team to achieve sales goals in a team-based environment.
- Gain product knowledge, especially in active-wear and fashion, to serve as an expert.
- Lead project completion while maintaining focus on customer experience.
- Communicate inventory needs to support sales objectives.
Leadership/Ownership
- Maintain store standards, including restocking, visual merchandising, and cleaning.
- Follow safety and protocol standards during opening and closing procedures.
- Encourage punctuality, responsibility, and role adherence among staff.
Qualifications
- Available mornings and/or evenings, 5 days/week, including at least one weekend day.
- Demonstrate punctuality and attendance leadership.
- Ability to develop relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Expert in customer service, creating experiences, and handling concerns proactively.
- Prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Quick learner of new procedures.
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High ownership, accountability, and initiative.
- Open to developing new skills and responsive to feedback.
