Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a Retail Supervisor on a part-time basis (19 hours per week) to help ensure smooth operations for a major High Street brand. You will supervise frontline staff, manage deliveries, till operations, and weekly rotas while upholding hygiene and safety standards.

The role offers progression opportunities within the company. Ideal candidates have prior supervision experience in a similar environment, strong customer service skills, and a positive, proactive attitude

Qualifications

• Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment.
• Good communication skills with a focus on great Customer Service.
• Team player and can-do attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported
• Being a responsible key holder
• Using the till, taking order and receiving payments
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessary
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines
• Placing orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Retail Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in a major High Street brand on a part time basis, contracted to 19 hours per week.
