Retail Supervisor - Full Time

Retail Supervisor for our shop in Hyndburn Retail Park, Blackburn. Permanent 39 hour full time position working a variety of shifts, 5 days a week (7:00 – 16:00).

We require flexible availability throughout the week, including weekends.

• Hourly pay £13.11 (guaranteed minimum 39 hours a week – £511 per week).

Responsibilities

• Important part of the management team, support the manager in leading the team to run an efficient shop and provide great customer service.
• Take full responsibility for running the shop in manager's absence: customers looked after, deliveries worked quickly and shop routines completed to maintain a safe, clean, tidy shop.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop your team of retail assistants.
• Take responsibility for the control of operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.

• Trustworthy and reliable; important part of small team.
• Experience as supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or similar industries is strong but not essential.
