Job Title: Retail Supervisor at Deichmann - Derby

Purpose: Deichmann is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Retail Supervisor to join our Derby store team.

Compensation: Up to £12.64 per hour plus non-contractual, hourly sales commission.

Role Overview: Retail Supervisors support the store management team and ensure an exceptional shopping experience for customers. This is a part-time, permanent position, contracted for 30 hours per week.

Ideal Candidate: Energetic, driven, passionate about retail, with a positive attitude towards customer service, team leadership, and working in a fast-paced environment. Previous retail experience, especially supervisory, is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and supervise the store team in the absence of the Store Manager.
  2. Open and close the store, including cashing up and administrative duties.
  3. Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong product knowledge.
  4. Promote and recommend products to increase sales.
  5. Assist management in achieving store sales targets and KPIs.
  6. Support team members as needed.
  7. Ensure proper merchandising, product displays, and store presentation.
  8. Manage stock deliveries and transfers.
  9. Handle customer queries and complaints.
Personal Characteristics:
  1. Ability to follow management directives for additional tasks.
  2. Experience in supervising, including cashing up and banking.
  3. Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
  4. Capable of motivating, coaching, and working with a team.
  5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  6. Willingness to serve all customers.
  7. Drive to meet and exceed performance targets.
  8. Methodical with daily tasks, including stock management.
  9. High attention to detail.
  10. Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
  11. Flexible to work any day from Monday to Sunday, 30 hours per week.
