Job Title: Retail Supervisor

Deichmann is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Retail Supervisor to join our team at the Bromley store. This is a part-time, permanent position, contracted for 30 hours per week.

Compensation

Competitive hourly rate of up to £13.71 plus non-contractual hourly sales commission.

Role Overview

Retail Supervisors play a vital role in supporting the store management team and delivering an exceptional shopping experience to customers. This role offers opportunities for growth and development within the retail sector.

Ideal Candidate

Energetic, driven, passionate about retail, with a positive attitude towards customer service, team leadership, and working in a fast-paced environment. Previous retail and supervisory experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and supervise the store team in the absence of the Store Manager.
  2. Open and close the store, including cashing up and administrative duties.
  3. Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong product knowledge.
  4. Promote and recommend products to enhance sales.
  5. Assist management in achieving sales targets and KPIs.
  6. Support team members as needed.
  7. Ensure proper store merchandising and attractive product displays.
  8. Manage stock deliveries and transfers.
  9. Handle customer queries and complaints.
Personal Characteristics
  • Ability to follow management instructions and perform additional tasks.
  • Previous supervisory experience, including cashing up and banking.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
  • Leadership skills to motivate and coach a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willingness to serve all customers.
  • Drive to exceed performance targets.
  • Methodical with attention to detail, especially in stock management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
