Job Title: Retail Supervisor

Deichmann is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Retail Supervisor to join our team at the Telford store.

Purpose

You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to £12.64 plus non-contractual hourly sales commission.

Role Overview

Our Retail Supervisors play a vital role in supporting the store management team and delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers. This is a part-time, permanent position, contracted for 25 hours per week.

Ideal Candidate

If you have energy, drive, and passion to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing retail environment, this is the role for you. You should have a positive attitude towards customer service, leadership skills, stamina for a busy shop floor, and the ability to work calmly under pressure. Previous retail experience, especially in supervisory roles, is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and supervise the store team in the absence of the Store Manager.
  2. Open and close the store, including cashing up and completing administrative duties.
  3. Provide excellent customer service with strong product knowledge.
  4. Promote and recommend products to enhance sales.
  5. Assist management in achieving sales targets and KPIs.
  6. Support team members as needed.
  7. Ensure the store is well-merchandised, with attractive product displays.
  8. Manage stock deliveries and store transfers.
  9. Handle customer queries and complaints.
Personal Characteristics
  • Ability to follow management instructions for additional tasks.
  • Previous supervisory experience, including cashing up and banking.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to motivate, coach, and work with a team.

Salary
