Job Description:

Purpose: Deichmann is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Retail Supervisor to join the team in our Kingston store.

You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to £13.71 per hour plus non-contractual hourly sales commission.

As a Retail Supervisor, you will support the store management team and help deliver an exceptional shopping experience to our customers.

This is a part-time, permanent position, contracted for 25 hours per week. The ideal candidate has energy, drive, and passion for working in a fast-paced, customer-facing retail environment.

You should have a positive attitude towards customer service, leadership skills, stamina for a busy shop floor, and the ability to work calmly under pressure.

Previous retail experience and supervisory experience are preferred. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leading and supervising the store team in the absence of the Store Manager.
  2. Opening and closing the store, including cashing up and administrative duties.
  3. Providing excellent customer service and product knowledge.
  4. Promoting and recommending products to customers.
  5. Assisting management in achieving sales targets and KPIs.
  6. Supporting team members as needed.
  7. Ensuring the store is well-merchandised and product displays are appealing.
  8. Processing stock deliveries and transfers.
  9. Handling customer queries and complaints.

Personal characteristics include:

  • Ability to follow management instructions.
  • Previous supervisory experience, including cashing up and banking.
  • Self-motivation and a positive attitude.
  • Leadership and team motivation skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
