Purpose

Deichmann is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Retail Supervisor to join our Manchester store team.

Important: We will hold a recruitment day for interviews on Thursday, 29th May. Please ensure your availability on this day if selected for an interview.

You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to £13.41 plus non-contractual, hourly sales commission.

Role Overview

At Deichmann, our Retail Supervisors support the store management team and deliver an exceptional shopping experience to our customers. This part-time, permanent position involves working 20 hours per week.

Ideal Candidate

If you have energy, drive, and passion for working in a fast-paced, customer-facing retail environment, this role is for you. A positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, leadership ability, stamina, and composure under pressure are essential.

Experience

Previous retail experience is required, ideally with supervisory experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and supervise the store team in the absence of the Store Manager.
  2. Open and close the store, including cashing up and administrative duties.
  3. Provide excellent customer service and possess strong product knowledge.
  4. Promote and recommend products to enhance sales.
  5. Assist management in achieving sales targets and KPIs.
  6. Support team members as needed.
  7. Ensure proper merchandising, attractive product displays, and stock management.
  8. Process stock deliveries and store transfers.
  9. Handle customer queries and complaints.

  • Ability to follow management instructions for additional tasks.
  • Experience with cashing up and banking.
