Job Description:

Purpose: Deichmann are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Retail Supervisor to join the team in our West Bromwich store.

You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to £13.41 per hour + non-contractual, hourly sales commission.

At Deichmann, our Retail Supervisors play a vital role in supporting the store management team and delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers.

This is a part-time, permanent position, contracted for 16 hours per week. Ideal candidates have energy, drive, and passion for working in a fast-paced, customer-facing retail environment.

You should possess a positive attitude towards customer service, leadership skills, stamina for a busy shop floor, and the ability to work calmly under pressure.

Previous retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role, is required.

Key activities:
  1. Lead and supervise the store team in the absence of the Store Manager.
  2. Open & close the store, including cashing up and administrative duties.
  3. Provide excellent customer service and have strong product knowledge.
  4. Promote and recommend products to increase sales.
  5. Assist management in achieving sales targets and KPIs.
  6. Support team members as needed.
  7. Ensure proper merchandising and attractive product displays.
  8. Manage stock deliveries and transfers.
  9. Handle customer queries and complaints.
Personal characteristics:
  1. Ability to follow management instructions for additional tasks.
  2. Previous supervisory experience including cashing up and banking.
  3. Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
  4. Capable of motivating, coaching, and leading a team.
  5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  6. Willing to serve all customers proactively.
  7. Driven to meet and exceed performance targets.
  8. Methodical with daily tasks, including stock management.
  9. Attention to detail.
  10. Ability to work independently and in a team.
  11. Flexible to work any day from Monday to Sunday.
Salary/Pay:

Up to £13.41 per hour + non-contractual, hourly sales commission.
