Deichmann is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Retail Supervisor to join our team at the Braehead store.

Purpose: To support the store management team and deliver an exceptional shopping experience to customers.

Compensation: Up to £13.41 per hour plus non-contractual hourly sales commission.

Position Details: This is a part-time, permanent role, contracted for 16 hours per week.

Ideal Candidate: If you possess energy, drive, and passion for working in a fast-paced, customer-facing retail environment, this role is for you!

You should have a positive attitude towards providing excellent customer service, the ability to lead a team, stamina for a busy shop floor, and the capacity to work calmly under pressure.

Requirements: Previous retail experience, preferably with supervisory experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and supervise the store team in the absence of the Store Manager.
  2. Open and close the store, including cashing up and administrative duties.
  3. Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong product knowledge.
  4. Promote and recommend products to enhance sales.
  5. Assist management in achieving sales targets and KPIs.
  6. Support team members as needed.
  7. Ensure the store is well merchandised and displays are inviting.
  8. Process stock deliveries and transfers.
  9. Handle customer queries and complaints.
Personal Characteristics:
  • Ability to follow management instructions for additional tasks.
  • Experience in supervising, cashing up, and banking.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
